Our association recently hired Tom Younkman and his team at Younkman’s Bamboo Gardens to design and install a drainage solution around our pickleball/tennis courts, as well as transform our muddy drainage field into a beautiful, peaceful rock garden. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
Tom and his team demonstrated exceptional expertise and creativity throughout the entire project. The drainage around the courts works perfectly, preventing any water buildup and ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition for play.
The real highlight, however, is the stunning rock garden they created in our drainage field. What was once an unsightly and muddy area is now a serene and visually pleasing garden that still effectively manages runoff. It’s become a favorite spot for our community to relax and enjoy nature.

From start to finish a great experience. Tom was very receptive to our design needs, even going so far as sending us photos of feature plants while out searching nurseries. Communication was great- easily reachable by text, project was on time, prices are reasonable, and the crew is friendly and detail oriented. We immediately proceeded with a second phase and also the team followed up on our recently planted trees, making recommendations to improve care and watering schedule.

We used Younkman landscape service and they did a great job!! He came when scheduled, did everything as proposed and the outcome was perfect. They did a lot of clean up, removal and shape up of an overgrown neglected yard. We will use them again in the future. Rita R
